The manual is structured around a two-part teaching methodology for each weekly lesson:
Bible Passage & Background Scriptures: Shortened and adapted from the children's series to match preschool attention spans.
Recall Verse: A concise, repetitive memory verse.
Lesson Objectives: Defined under a tripartite learning model:
Head (Knowledge): What the child should know or understand.
Heart (Attitude/Belief): What the child should feel, desire, or value.
Hand (Action/Application): Practical activities, prayers, or behavioral responses.
Big Idea: The central takeaway sentence to be stressed and memorized.
Tell the Story: A narrative guide meant to be dynamically shared, role-played, dramatized, or sung rather than read verbatim.
Put to Use: Practical daily life applications and moral behaviors.
Promise Based on the Lesson: A spoken declaration or pledge by the preschoolers.
Closing Prayer: Child-friendly prayer based on the day's theme.
Each lesson provides specific instructional aids, teacher guides, and evaluation questions across seven learning stations (ideally facilitated by assigned teachers or rotating groups):
Art and Craft: Coloring, drawing, tracing, cut-outs, and badge/card making.
Block: Tactile building, word assembly, carton labeling, and constructing related props (e.g., tombs, podiums, roads).
Book: Picture books, photo sequencing, coloring story panels, and memory verse albums.
Home Living: Role-playing, domestic chores, social interactions, and practical reenactments.
Music: Theme-related hymns (from the Baptist Hymnal), action songs, rhythm poems, and instruments.
Nature: Outdoor observation under trees, exploring gardens/water/plants, and linking God’s creation to the lesson.
Puzzle and Toys: Manipulatives, letter puzzles, word building, matching games, and toy sorting.
